Who We Are

Welcome to the Woodlynn Hills Pub. We are a casual dining restaurant a few minutes’ drive from Letchworth State Park.

Located just outside the village of Nunda, you can find us at Woodlynn Hills Golf Course. Our beautifully restored 19th century farm complex serves as our restaurant, wedding venue, and clubhouse.

Our cuisine is hand-crafted and made fresh with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. We are conveniently located twenty to twenty-five minutes from Swain Resort, Conesus and Silver Lakes, SUNY Geneseo, and Houghton University. Many popular attractions in Livingston County and the Genesee Valley are a short drive away. We are fifty minutes from Rochester, and an hour from the Buffalo area.

Our historic farm complex and the greenery of Woodlynn Hills serve as the backdrop of our wedding pavilion. (Seats up to 300 guests).

Now offering the option to choose your own caterer! Work with our team to find the perfect caterer for your special day.

The pavilion is surrounded by the rolling hills and wild landscape of the golf course. In the fall, watch the leaves change as you dance the night away. At the top of the hill and you’ll find a sweeping view of the valley that is second-to-none.

Our 18 hole course has something for everyone.

The serious golfer will find a challenge playing from our championship tees, yet our relaxed atmosphere is welcoming for the new golfer.
Take in the views of the countryside as you wind through the woods and up and down hills-unlike any other course in the area.

History

We use to be called The Whistling Farmer Pub in memory of Freeman Barber, “the whistling farmer”. Freeman operated a dairy farm in our location until the early 1970s at which time he built Barberlea Golf Course. We’ve come a long way from pitching hay and milking cows in our dining room! Later Freeman worked alongside his son Russell Barber to build Woodlynn Hills Golf Course. He’d regularly be seen on his red Farmall tractor or around the clubhouse whistling a happy tune. Now that we have switched to Woodlynn Hills Pub we are looking to continue displaying his legacy in as many ways as we can!
